At its meeting on 30 September 2025, the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) announced that it will keep the official cash rate unchanged at 3.6% p.a. The decision reflects a slowing decline in inflation, a recovery in domestic spending, and continued uncertainty about the future economic outlook.
RBA has lowered its official cash rate by 75 basis points in 2025 from 4.35% to 3.6%.
